Your College Dreams Come True with International scholarships

Through many kinds of ways working families fulfill their own dreams because of Unions help. At SEIU, students alse can get some opportunities just like the yearly college scholarship.
Through five different scholarship programs, SEIU will awards 52 scholarships that enable members and their children to pursue their educational goals at accredited colleges, universities, and technical schools.
These scholarships are available to SEIU members or their children. The John Geagan Scholarship is also available to local union staff. To be eligible to apply for any this scholarship, membership must be for three continuous years as of September 1, 2010.
Scholarships will be awarded without regard to the sex, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, or disability of any applicant. Scholarship awards are limited to one per household.
Officers and employees of the International union and their children are not eligible. Graduate students are not eligible.
Application Process
The 2010-2011 International Scholarship season is now coming. You will receive a letter letting you know whether you received one or not after you completed an application for any of the Scholarships program . We expect the decisions to be completed and letters to be sent out by mid-June on time.
