I am coming from south-western Germany, while my parents – esp. my grandmother – have scottish forefathers. So I consider myself to be German with some Anglo-Saxon influence. This interesting thoughts about the German people seem to be very pessimistic to me; I’d think, American people could learn much from how Germany is handling its crisis right now.
