Apple Scholarships 2011 is given to those who are responsible and committed to serve community and their school. Beside you will be judged by your academic excellence and creative abilities. There are total of 26 scholarships that will be given to you and the amount of award money is $2000, so each of you would be given $2000 after winning the scholarship. But to qualify for the Apple Scholarships 2011 you must be high school senior. You will have to prove yourself through senior project and your GPA must be 2.8 or above. Beside you or your parent must be member of Apple FCU.

Students who will be attending four year college or universities have 20 Scholarship reserved for them. If you are attending community college, then four scholarships are for you. And student working in student run branch of Apple FCU, have two scholarships for them. But most importantly you must send unofficial transcript from high school for selection committee to verify. Complete the scholarship form carefully and to win the Apple Scholarships 2011 write in about 150 words or in two paragraphs in your application firstly about the various activities of yours towards school and community which made difference in the life of others and then in the second paragraph you will have to tell about your future goal and how would you meet your goal through the scholarship.

You must send two reference letters. The first letter, supporting your application should be from your counselor, teacher or administrator and the second letter should be from a reliable adult, telling about your activities and commitment and involvement towards community. To be the winner of Apple Scholarships 2011, you must keep in your mind the selection process in which your application is evaluated through a committee of 12 members. So any mistake on your part in following rules can get your application rejected by the judges. So do not need to do extra from what you are asked. Your application must reach to its destination by March 1, 2011 and winners will be notified in early May.
