    *Learn What the Bank of America scholarship Provides

    The Bank of America/Joe Martin scholarship program is a competitive scholarship program for dependents of Bank of America associates. (See eligibility guidelines below.) 

    The scholarship provides awards in the amounts of $1000-$5000 per year with renewals for up to three years. Scholarships are awarded based on academic record, financial need, and school and community involvement and service.

    *Apply for a Bank of America Scholarship

    Applications for the Bank of America/Joe Martin Scholarship are accepted each calendar year from the first of December to the last day of February of the next year.

    BOA Employees:

    In order to be eligible for applying, there are some requirements for the Bank of America employee. Bank of America employees must be active full or part time employees who have worked for the company for at least one year. Additionally, employees must be in a job band of 3-9. Employees in bands 0-2 are not currently eligible.

    BOA Dependents:

    In order to be eligible for application, the BOA employee requirements must be met. The dependents must also meet the following criteria:

    be 23 years of age or younger and considered a “dependent”

    be a graduate or a high school senior

    be enrolled in or plan to be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year accredited college, university, or technical/vocational school (this must take place the year the award is given)

    be an above average student with an above average academic record

    have a strong commitment to public service and school/public communities

    have established future and career goals

    *Understand the History of the Bank of America Scholarship to best complete your Application

    The Bank of America Scholarship is named in honor of the former Principal Corporate Affairs Executive Joe Martin. Because Mr. Martin was a lifelong learner and generous community volunteer, Bank of America chose to create the scholarship in the hopes that it would attract those with similar determination and dedication to service.
