There is a difference. I do not drink sodas, so I would not be able to make a difference. I live in Italy and 95% of the Italians I know always tell me they prefer Coke to Italian American coke. Many things like soft drinks are different in different countries. I even noticed that the milk has a different taste in every country I visited.
