It’s beginning to look like an email / IM if you put in all the informality (ellipses and “haha” s), but it’s just a thank you note to a teacher, so I do not really think that is importe.Oui cheesy, yes it is probably too romantic, but it will certainly be appreciated.

Written very well and good. My daughter recently wrote a letter to his AP World History teacher, to thank him for the letter of recommendation and was very pleased with him. I really think it is a great achievement and a compliment for a teacher when the teacher recognizes a student had a positive impact on their learning experience. This is a wonderful thing for both.
