I am likely to be a freshman, so I know there is no need to have to rush, but everything from right here on out counts. I really want to attend an Ivy League college(Princeton, Dartmouth, Yale, Brown, and so on.). Not only do I require to be good enough to get in, but I truly do need to have a scholarship or any financial support I can get. If not, my mother and father want to ship me to community college for two a long time first, then to yet another university, but I will not want to at all. The courses I am taking are as followed
-Science 9 (My only standard class. :/)
-Academic Geometry
-Sophisticated Language Arts(Sophomore 12 months Should I just take Journalism or Advanced English 10?)
-Advanced American Studies(What do you recommend for sophomore yr? AP U.S. Heritage, AP U.S. Gov&Politics, AP Earth Heritage. I’m thinking world background?)
-Spanish 3
-Personal computer Literacy one & Job Exploration as electives.
Fall sport XC (Cross nation)
Spring Sport Softball (Enjoying because I was five) and/or Track.
I don’t assume to do what I was ready to do in 8th grade Wake up at last moment, search semi-first rate, go to school, do homework in research hall (do not have that luxurious any longer), go home, eat a snack, computer, television, text, mattress. That was my straightforward schedule.
Subsequent calendar year I plan on waking up previously and heading to bed previously. Taking the hour that I want to shower and get prepared. Perhaps truly eating breakfast this yr (It is the most crucial meal of the day, after all), heading to school, go to XC, come home, do research, study, have a few hrs just before bed, loosen up and snooze, and then do it all about once more. I’ll have time for all that other stuff on weekends.
I appreciate reading and composing, photography, and athletics.
My aim is to have a very shut-to-leading class rank. There are 450+ in my grade. I want to be best thirty at the minimum, but desire best ten.
How does my timetable look? Any guidance on what to do above the decades to get into an Ivy League school? Any ideas for scholarships? Any assistance would be wonderful(: Many thanks!

If your family members monetarily can’t pay for to ship you to college, you can also use for fiscal aid and the much less you make, the far more you get. If you retain you grades up you will definitely get a scholarship. There are also schools out there that are not ivy league but are just as good. You should look into people schools also.

I hope you don’t follow your 8th grade schedule next year. I told myself the same thing and ended up doing it Freshman year.
You should take Advanced Language Arts 10, Ap World History, and at least get into one club or a group.
When I first got to high school, I thought that many people were going to try to achieve but most didn’t. So getting a high class rank with that schedule and your work ethic won’t be difficult.
Good luck and stick with your schedule through out the year and don’t give up.
