It will be sent to your college.
If you are not positive of which college you want to go to however… make your selection (shortly! specially if it can be for fall!), contact where you acquired the scholarship from and allow them know what college you have picked so almost everything will be worked out before you start off university.

It depends on the scholarship, there are many different systems. Some scholarships give you the money directly with no strings attached (thats the best kind) but sadly humans like to make their gifts with strings attached so often there are conditions. Sometimes it goes directly to the school and sometimes not. Ask the foundation through which you are applying.

It depends upon your scholarship. i once got a single parent scholarship and I could state where I wanted it to go and I had it sent to a gas station. That way I could get free gas until the money ran out.
